How “Remember me” for 2FA works
Remember me for 2FA feature sets a persistent cookie on the browser, the cookie will be retrieved for validation during each login. You will not be prompted for 2FA again until the cookie expires or cleared.
Why am I still getting prompt for 2FA even after checking [Remember me]?
Multiple browsers
If you authenticate using one browser and then later login via another browser, you will be prompted again to authenticate. Cookies are not shared across different web browsers.
Cookie settings
If you have your web browser or machine security settings sets to remove cookies upon exit, you will be prompted to authenticate every time that happens.
Clearing cache/cookies
If you have recently cleared your browser’s cache/cookies, you will be prompted again to authenticate.
Denying cookie access
If you deny this portal access to cookie when browser pop-up requesting for access, remember me will not work.
Private or Incognito mode
If you are accessing the portal in Private mode or Incognito mode, the cookie will be cleared when browser is closed. As such, the next time you access the portal from a newly launched browser, you will be prompted again to authenticate.
Application limitation
Some applications or devices may not support the use of cookie, as such, remember me will not work.
Extension, plug-in or Anti-virus Your browser’s extension, plug-in or anti-virus may clear cookies after closing.
